Miss & Mr. U.S. National Pageant
America's U.S. Pageant System was created to give pageant contestants a national level pageant to have fun, reach for their goals, and win a national title so that they can serve as a role model for others throughout the United States.
I have been a pageant director in the state of Mississippi for 20 years now. I have turned my love of pageantry into a full-time career. I have developed two pageant systems in the state of Mississippi that each usually attract over 100 contestants each year. I think this alone says a lot for my pageants.
Being a man, my role in the pageant industry is usually that of a supporter, director and coach. I did have the opportunity to compete in a couple of pageants in my 20's that did offer a Men's division. I decided I wanted to be a part of a competition one last time at a "National Pageant" based in Florida a couple of years ago. When I arrived in Florida for the pageant, the room was the size of a hotel room with a "kitchenette" area at the side. The stage was made up of four shipping pallets with plywood nailed over them. I was devastated. I had spend all of this time and money preparing for this pageant and drove 11 hours one way to get there.
After that experience, I was motivated to create my own national pageant system. I know how successful I have been in my home state of Mississippi so I feel as though God had me go to Florida to witness this type of event so I would create a new one and no one would have to go through the disappointment I had faced.
The America's Miss and Mr. U.S. Pageant is an event that everyone is proud of and enjoys being a part of. I have created an awesome pageant with awesome people involved. I have kept the entry fee very low so that anyone in the United States may participate regardless of personal income.
I have offered many different divisions at the national pageant so that almost anyone in the United States can qualify for at least one division. We are looking for all kinds of different people. In our Men divisions, we are looking for all kinds of men not just the models. Normal guys can win this. The same thing is true for the women divisions. Interview will be 50%, casual wear 25% and evening gown 25%.
